Co-Pack Partners Story

Co-Pack Partners was founded in 2018 with a vision of helping others achieve success.

During a long career with PepsiCo in the Frito-Lay Division, I was afforded the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the greatest leaders in the CPG business. Rather than moving vertically in a functional discipline, I chase a path to move through a variety of roles from new plant start-ups as an engineer to field manufacturing operation and then 3rd party manufacturing with global procurement. It was incredible to see the operational excellence driven by a people focused company. The competition, best practice sharing, world class supply chain tools, and relentless focus on continuous improvement were part of the DNA, but the focus on people development was the foundation for delivering truly exceptional results.

It was during my time in with global procurement and contract manufacturing that I was able to experience the incredible landscape of companies that provide raw materials, manufacturing, and services. Each one was unique and I was inspired by their stories of growth and the entrepreneurial spirit. Many of these companies achieved success by pure effort, focus on the customer, and a get it done attitude. What if this passion could be coupled with the process, tools, training, and tactics achieved in the scale of a larger company?

Over time, I came to value most the time spent working hand in hand with teams on operational improvement and being able to see both results and the growth of leaders. The most proud moment of my career was handing a Supplier of the Year award to a company that a few years earlier was at risk of losing the business. While I was technically ‘the customer’, it was the support of a fearless leadership team, countless hours of working on the floor with everyone from line leads to the plant managers, and a ‘we will win as one’ attitude that is most satisfying.

While Co-Pack Partners is a boutique consulting firm, we have a broad network of experienced industry leaders in various functional roles that can be engaged as needed. I believe the excellence comes from the merger of leadership and navigation. Leadership is about capability, passion, and engagement of people. Navigation is about knowing where your organization is on the ops excellence evolutionary scale, and what to focus on as an organization.
